Dis-ease
Chiropractic therapy is rooted in the theory that an abnormally functioning nervous system causes "dis-ease." This dis-ease can result in symptoms such as pain, a weaker immune system, disease, and other medical problems. Chiropractic adjustments and manipulation resolve to restore the nervous system to its optimal performance.

The main conduit of the Central Nervous System is the spinal column, which receives electrical impulses, or messages, from your brain and distributes them to the appropriate part of your body - and vise versa. When the vertebrae of the spinal column are misaligned, called "subluxation," these messages are interrupted to varying degrees, resulting in dis-ease.
